Food Allergy Accommodations
We provide individual accommodations based on each child’s dietary needs and allergies.
At UKB, we prepare fresh, homemade meals in our own kitchen every day, using carefully selected ingredients and cooking methods. We incorporate seasonal ingredients as well as selected ingredients sourced from Japan. To help children discover a variety of flavors and foods, we prepare the same ingredients in different ways, making mealtimes enjoyable while broadening their food experiences. Our morning snacks are also freshly prepared in-house, supporting children’s growth and development through nutritious food every day.
Early childhood is an important stage of significant physical and emotional development, when the foundations of lifelong eating habits are formed.
At UKB, we see mealtimes as more than simply an opportunity to provide nutrition. We consider food education an important part of supporting children’s overall growth.
By experiencing a variety of ingredients and flavors and discovering feelings such as “This is delicious,” “I’d like to try it,” and “What is this?”, children naturally develop curiosity and interest in food. Through these experiences, we help build the foundations for a healthy body and mind, as well as positive eating habits that will stay with them throughout their lives.
At UKB, we value the experience of sitting around the same table and enjoying meals together with friends and teachers.
“Food tastes better when we eat together” and “My friend is eating it, so I want to try it too.” These everyday experiences encourage children to become curious about new foods and help them develop a positive relationship with eating.
By sharing meals together, children discover not only the joy of eating, but also the pleasure of connecting with others and developing a sense of gratitude for food.
We provide individual accommodations based on each child’s dietary needs and allergies.
We gently teach children how to use spoons and forks correctly.
Children can ask for additional servings according to their appetite, allowing them to enjoy a satisfying and pleasant mealtime.
Once a month, we serve local Thai cuisine, giving children an opportunity to experience another culture through food.
We offer special menus inspired by seasonal events and Japanese traditions, such as somen noodles for Tanabata.
Through our annual food education program with MOS BURGER, children experience making hamburgers themselves. By handling ingredients and learning about the cooking process, they discover the joy of preparing food and develop a greater interest in what they eat.
